Car Loans
Author: Peter Lindstrom
Before one purchases a car, there are many things to consider and many questions to be answered. Do you pay cash or take out a loan to pay for the car? Do you buy a new car or a previously owned car (otherwise known as a used car)? Instead of purchasing the car, do you lease the car?
These are but a few of the many questions that one has to consider. The purpose of this Pull-Out Section is to look at a few possible answers to some of these questions by looking at some hypothetical situations. Although there is no single correct answer to any of the above questions, you will see that mathematics plays an important role when you, the consumer, have to make a decision as to what is best for you.
