Computer Implementation of Matrix Computations and Row Transformations on Matrices with Application to Solving Systems of Linear Equations (UMAP)
Author: Wendell L. Motter
This module gives a comprehensive introduction to the use of a computer to perform a variety of matrix operations and calculations. Computer programming techniques for the input/output of matrices, matrix-arithmetic operations, computations of powers of square matrices, and the implementation of elementary row transformations on matrices are discussed thoroughly. A generic version of the BASIC programming language is used throughout.
